I liked the layering of all these materials, and the challenge of building up a coherent and pleasant palette in such a situation. Words or recognizable shapes can be woven together to become something more like a texture.

Testing different weights and rags of paper to see what would hold up. Part of my enjoyment of working on paper is getting to have irregular angles! I think this looks well on a wall, as it engages the edges of the paper in space. Looks like a mistake on camera, though.
